Azusa Police Department seeks information about stabbing which happened on Halloween

On November 1st, 2013, at about 12:49 AM, a group of friends were seated inside their vehicle near the east driveway of the Azusa Gardens Apartments at 601 E. Eighth Street in Azusa.

The group was approached by 4 to 5 male suspects who were not known to the victims. The suspects demanded money from at least one occupant of the vehicle. The suspects argued with one of the victims, as he exited the vehicle.

The argument turned into a physical confrontation, and the victim was stabbed multiple times. The victim sustained serious injuries during this incident.

The suspects left the scene in a silver sedan, which may have been an Audi.

Suspect #1 is described as a Hispanic male, about 25 years of age, 5'8" tall, and weighing about 160 to 170 pounds. He has dark colored hair in a "buzz cut" hair style, and thin facial hair.

Suspect #2 is described as a Hispanic male, about 25 to 30 years of age, with a heavy build. He has a shaved head and a mustache, and he may have been wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.

All of the remaining suspects were desribed as Hispanic males wearing baggy clothing.

Of particular note is the fact one of the suspects was wearing an orange colored "inmate" style jumpsuit.

This incident occurred the morning after Halloween, and there were several parties and people in the area.
