Hello: I take the Gold Line from Azusa. There is a serious lack of parking availability in the vicinity of the station. The parking structure is always full, unless one gets there very early in the morning. There is plenty of lots and street parking with a 3-hour limit, which doesn't work for most train users who commute to work. I would like to know what, if anything, the city is doing to improve the situation. I know this is not a question for the police department, but when I have nowhere to park except in a 3-hour limit space, I promptly get ticketed by the Azusa PD. Seems like an easy way to get additional revenue from people who are in a bind. It may be a lot more effective to free up some of the plethora of 3-hour spaces that are vacant all day and make them available for all-day parking. Thank you for your consideration of this matter and for your service to the community.
