Being one of the largest social media venues available today, the AZPD's Facebook Fanpage is packed with news and other info, such as press releases and commentary, public relations news, upcoming events, crime prevention tips and contests.
Twitter is the choice for people to receive quick news blasts and messages from their favorite sources. We use our Twitter feed to send short, quick updates on current events and incidents, notify you of recent Facebook posts, and share videos and photos.

The Azusa Police Department believes in the use of video for public relations, as well as the solving of crimes. When we publish videos, notifications are sent to our Facebook Fanpage and Twitter Feed. We use YouTube for items, such as public service announcement videos, surveillance videos of wanted subjects, recruitment videos.
Nextdoor.com is not affiliated with the Azusa Police Department. However, this social media tool allows neighborhoods to create their own social media network, essentially becoming a virtual neighborhood watch. The AZPD does send messages thru Nextdoor.com to neighborhoods in our city.
