3 People Shot At Azusa Party

3 People Shot At Azusa Party

Early this morning, at about 2:20 am, two Azusa Police Officers were on patrol when they heard gunfire. The officers began searching the area for the source of the gunfire.

The police officers found a party occurring in the 100 block of N. Soldano Avenue, to which they located three men (19 year-old and 22 year-old, both from Azusa, and an 18 year-old from Hemet) who had been wounded from the gunfire. The wounds sustained by the victims do not appear to be life threatening.

While completing their investigation, officers learned a gunman approached the crowd attending the party, and began shooting a handgun. It does not appear this was a gang-related attack, and investigators are actively interviewing witnesses and carefully examining the evidence.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Azusa Police Department at (626) 812-3200. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can do so by clicking on the "Anonymous Tip" logo at the top of our website.
