Last night, at about 9:42 pm, Azusa Police Department officers went to the 7-Eleven Convenience Store at 455 E. Foothill Boulevard regarding a robbery.
When the officers arrived, they met with the victim who told them he had been robbed by two suspects. The suspects approached the victim, and brandished a knife, when the victim was at the rear of the business, in the trash enclosure. The suspects punched the victim in his face, and used the knife to threaten the victim as they demanded money. When the victim could not produce any money, the suspects forcibly took jewelry items from him, and left the scene.
Both suspects were described as being male Hispanics, about 25 to 35 years of age. One of the suspects was 5'06", weighing about 180 pounds, and wearing a gray beanie and black sweat jacket. The other suspect was 5'03", weighing about 160 pounds, and wearing a blue baseball style cap, and black sweat jacket.
The robbery is being investigated by the Azusa Police Department Detective Bureau.
