On July 13th, 2016 at about 8:39 PM, the Chinese Taste Restaurant at 932 E Alosta Avenue was robbed by an armed male. The suspect pointed a handgun at employees while demanding money from the cash register. Out of fear for their lives, the employees complied with his demands. The suspect fled with about $500 dollars. None of the employees were injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 6'0"/230 lbs, with a scruffy beard, wearing a khaki hat, blue jacket, khaki shorts, and black shoes.
The robbery was captured on video and the Azusa Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.
