Heat Alert Declared in San Gabriel Valley

​A heat alert has been declared by the Los Angeles County Department of  Public Health. This heat alert is in effect for the San Gabriel Valley, including the City of Azusa, and will be in effect from Sunday, August 27 through Wednesday, August 30.

As a result of this alert, The City of Azusa will be extending the hours of operation for our cooling centers during this time. The hours at the below cooling centers have been extended until 9:00 PM:

Sunday, August 27:       Azusa Senior Center ( 740 N. Dalton Ave., Azusa CA 91702)  and Memorial Park (320 N. Orange Ave., Azusa CA 91702)

Remainder of week:      Azusa City Library ( 729 N. Dalton Ave., Azusa CA 91702)  and Memorial Park
