Latest Storm Information - 12/01/2014 at 4:45 PM

As of 12/02/2014 at 3:30 PM, the Azusa Police Department’s Emergency Operation’s Center (EOC) is still activated. Here is the latest information we have…

The rain has been falling at a rate of about 1/4” an hour, with a total accumulation so far of 1 1/2”. The flood advisory warning is scheduled to expire by 5:30 PM this evening. However, the flood watch will continue through the evening, and will expire at 6 AM tomorrow, 12/03/2014.

The Phase 1 Debris flow alert will expire at 9 PM tonight.

The National Weather Service is currently monitoring a second band of rain developing in the pacific, and its intensity is not known at this time.
