INCIDENT: Search Warrant Operation

On February 1, 2019 at 4:00 am, the Azusa Police Department conducted a multi-location gang search warrant at nine different locations in the City of Azusa. This search warrant operation is a result of an on-going investigation into gang related violence. This operation was coordinated by the Azusa Police Department with the assistance of personnel from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Los Angeles County District Attorney's Bureau of Investigation, United States Marshal's Service, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Covina Police Department, West Covina Police Department, Upland Police Department, Baldwin Park Police Department, Pomona Police Department, and the El Monte Police Department.
Three arrests were made during the course of this operation and the Azusa Police Department will continue this investigation. The Azusa Police Department and our partners in law enforcement are committed to the safety of the entire region.
