On September 1st, 2018 Azusa Police Department officers responded to the 600 block of North Cerritos Avenue in the City of Azusa regarding a shooting which had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers located a male in his twenties who had been shot multiple times. Azusa officers and the Los Angeles County Fire Department rendered immediate aid and the victim was transported to an area trauma center .The victim is in stable condition and is expected to survive. The motive for the shooting is currently under investigation at this time.
