Two Drivers Air Lifted After Two Vehicle Collision In Azusa

On 2-10-2014 at approximately 8:41 a.m., Azusa Police Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Base Line Road and Citrus Avenue regarding an injury traffic collision. Officers arrived and discovered a 32 year old male West Covina resident, who had been driving a white Toyota Solara, had rear ended a white Acura TL driven by a 24 year old male Covina resident. 

Due to the severity of the damage to both vehicles, the drivers were air-lifted to a medical facility for further treatment. Both drivers are in stable condition and appeared to have suffered minor injuries.  Alcohol intoxication does not seem to be a factor related to this collision.
