Welcome to my blog. As a member of the Azusa Police Department, I look forward to helping the residents, business owners, students and visitors of our great city any way I can. I hope you find the information I provide to be useful.

Officer Mike Bires is a 20 year veteran of law enforcement.  He is currently assigned as the University Resource Officer at Azusa Pacific University.  Officer Bires has experience as a Field Training Officer, Bike Patrol, Community Policing, and SWAT.  He is the developer of the department's website and the social media manager.
