I have been searching for a job on craigslist and I thought I had luck on one listing however immediately the "boss" put me to work on an estimate without having even have met me or talked on the phone. Two days later he sent me a check for over 2,000 dollars. I felt odd about the entire ordeal and I told him that I would not be taking the job and would be returning the check, however now he is very insistent that I deposit the check to my own personal bank account and donate it. The check has one company's address on it and the actual envelope that it came in has another and he reaches me on two different telephone lines. Maybe I am making a big deal out of nothing but I am not at ease at all about this situation.
