Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Hit and Run Collision
On November 27, 2014 at about 12:23 am, Azusa PD Officers were dispatched to a hit-and-run traffic collision that had occurred between a vehicle and a pedestrian. The collision occurred near the intersection of Irwindale Avenue and McKinley Street.

Witness accounts reveal that the pedestrian appeared to be walking within the confines of the marked crosswalk on Irwindale Avenue, just north of McKinley Street. The pedestrian, a 28 year old male, was treated at the scene for serious injuries by Los Angeles County Fire Department Paramedics. He was transported to Los Angeles County/USC Hospital where his condition was listed as guarded.

The suspect vehicle was described as either a dark colored or tan compact vehicle with some front-end damage that was sustained from the collision. Azusa PD Traffic Collision Investigators responded to the scene for further investigation.
