Our community is a special one in which the residents and business owners have a great relationship with the men and women of the Azusa Police Department. Our department is proud of the history we've created and the future we're writing for generations to come. However, our department is indebted to the many community members who support us and value the service we provide.
We're thankful
We want to say thank you to our community with a simple handshake and good conversation. We hope you'll join us on Saturday, August 27, 2016, between 11 am and 1 pm. We will be at The Habit Grill at 834 E. Alosta Avenue, which is in the shopping center southwest of Azusa Pacific University.
What's there to talk about?
We can always find something to talk about with our community members. From discussing crime trends and quality of life issues to providing some great safety tips and meeting the kids, we're happy to spend some time with you and your family. Speaking of the kids, bring them out to meet us as well. All police officers have a special place in their hearts for children, and we love nothing more than to give some high fives!
Are you an APU parent?
We know we'll be having our event during APU's move-in weekend. After you're done getting your student into his dorm room, take a break and head over to the shopping center southwest of the APU main campus. Simply walk to the corner of Alosta Avenue and Citrus Avenue. Cross the street and head towards the large shopping center anchored by the CVS retail store. We'll be just west of CVS, in the main walkway towards the theater.
We would be happy to assure you that your son or daughter is in good hands in a community filled with great people and great police officers. We realize leaving your loved one in a new city by themselves can be stressful. Ask us what you want, and we'll ease your fears.
