On June 9, 2017 at approximately 7:00 PM, Azusa Police Officers responded to the 400 blk. E. Eighth Street regarding a seriously injured 32 year old female Azusa resident who advised that she fled from her apartment after being held against her will for at least one week. During the time she was held against her will by the suspect, he allegedly beat her repeatedly causing serious injuries to her face and body. Due to the severity of the victim's injuries, she was transported to a local hospital emergency room for treatment. Azusa Police Detectives were called out to investigate.
During the follow up investigation into this incident, the victim's boyfriend, Azusa resident Jack Albert Davis, Age 32, was identified as the suspect. Azusa Police Patrol Officers and Detectives were able to quickly locate and arrest Davis. It was also discovered that Davis was on Post-Release Community Supervision (PRCS). Davis was booked for Kidnapping, Domestic Violence, False Imprisonment, and Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He is also being held at the Azusa Police Department Jail on a No Bail Post-Release Community Supervision (PRCS) Hold pursuant to 3455(c) of the California Penal Code.
