Resolved People going through our trash

If there are people going through the trash, can I call the police on them? There is private personal paperwork that I threw away last night and saw people going throught it.

Good morning,

Yes you may call police when you witness subjects going through rubbish containers. We also highly encourage our residents to destroy or shred all sensitive documents containing personal information prior to placing them in rubbish containers. These steps can reduce the potential of identity theft should these documents be taken.
