Fire in the canyon, please be advised that the following communities require immediate mandatory evacuation: MOUNTAIN COVE and RAINBOW RANCH. Multiple agencies are involved in assisting residents evacuate at this time. Access to Highway 39 is very limited at this time, please avoid the area. Voluntary evacuations for the following communities: MIRADOR and  CRYSTAL CANYON.

Along with Los Angeles County Fire, the City of Duarte, and the American Red Cross, we are referring affected residents to the Community Center for evacuations which is located at 1600 Huntington Dr. Duarte. 

The Azusa Police Department is using Twitter (@AzusaPD) to keep the community updated as information becomes available. As you can imagine, it is a very busy time and we are using all of our resources to assist the community at this time. Please refrain from calling our dispatch center for updates on the fire.
