The last couple of days, we have received an increased number of complaints regarding people at the park after-hours. Please be mindful of the hours of operation which are the same for all public parks in our community.ALL parks are closed from 10pm-5am. We encourage the residents to visit our numerous parks throughout the city, the weather has been nice for a stroll in the park. We want to make sure everyone is following the posted hours of operation. We will be enforcing Azusa Municipal Code 50.1(b) (AMC)- No person shall enter, remain, stay or loiter in any municipal park or recreational facility between the hours of 10pm to 5am the following day, this section is an infraction. $100 ticket for the first offense and it will increase if you are cited a second time. Also, remember to always be aware of your surroundings. If you decide to go out for an evening walk, wear bright clothing and take a flashlight with you and a friend if possible. The Azusa Police Department wants you to enjoy your time at the park and we will continue to patrol the popular areas to ensure your safety.
