I was selling items today which is yard sale day, a community service officer came and told me i had to close my garage because there were new items inside there. I was selling both new and used items we placed all new items inside the garage and stopped selling them, however we were told we could continue selling the used products. However she refused to leave until i closed my garage and even threatened to give me a citation for haveing the garage open even though we were just sitting inside while waiting for customers to come buy our used items. i do sell at a swapmeet and have a resellers permit for all items in my garage however the garage is storage and i dont feel she has the authority to force me to close my garage which is my property and as far as i know storing items in my garage is not illegal nor is it a reason for a citation. This officer is completely unprofessional and extremely rude.
