Azusa Police Searching for Sexual Assault Suspect


On February 25, 2018, at approximately 10:00 pm, the Azusa Police Department responded to the 800 Blk E. Alosta Avenue, regarding a sexual battery which had just occurred. A female adult was standing outside of her residence waiting for a friend, when a male subject approached her from behind. The suspect grabbed her from behind and inappropriately touched her. After the assault the male suspect was seen running out of the complex towards Alosta Avenue.

Azusa Police Department officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a male white adult, 24- 27 years old, approximately 6' tall, thin build, with a full beard red or blonde in color, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and black pants.

The incident is currently being investigated by the Azusa Police Department Detective Bureau.
