Lieutenant Mike Bertelsen is the commander for Service Area Command 2, which covers the western portion of Azusa.

About SAC 2

Service Area Command 2 covers the western portion of azusa, with the following boundaries:

  • North of First Street
  • East of Irwindale Avenue
  • West of Dalton Avenue
  • South of Rainbow Ranch

This portion of Azusa is mainly residential, with isolated commercial and industrial areas. The following schools are within the boundaries of SAC 2:

  • Henry Dalton Elementary School
  • Victor Hodge Elementary School
  • Mountain View Elementary School
  • Slauson Middle School

The following parks are located in SAC 2:

  • Azusa Bike Trail Head
  • Canyon Park
  • Edwards Park
  • Memorial Park Recreation Center
  • Northside Park
  • San Gabriel Canyon Gateway Center
  • Veteran's Freedom Park
