Firefighters and police officers respond to a brush fire in the San Gabriel Riverbed overnight.

Officers from the Azusa Police Department, Irwindale Police Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to the riverbed adjacent to the San Gabriel River Trail at about 1:19 this morning, for a fire which had broken out. Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the United States Forestry Service fought the 4 acre fire, using both ground and air resources.
